How to compare prices?
Do you also find it difficult to compare the prices on hot dogs? For instance what is the price per Kg? Regular Hot Dogs in tins are normally packed by 8, with a net drained weight of 184 grams. That is what you get; 184 grams of Hot Dogs. However, you should always look at the weight declaration on the label, since shelf talkers sometimes declare the net weight of the product. This means, that you see the price of the hot dogs and the brine. However you don’t use the brine, and therefore it should not figure in the calculation. Therefore to see if you have chosen value for the money you should look at the price per kg of the net drained weight.
Quality
The Wikinger Hot Dogs are packed in glass jars. It is a premium packaging, which looks good and gives you a chance to actually see the product before buying it. Our hot dogs are produced according to old German traditions. They are smoked over natural beech wood to give them the characteristic German “bockwurst” style flavour.
